WheatonArts to Host Mid-Winter Antiques Show

MILLVILLE — Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center will host the Mid-Winter Antiques Show on Feb. 1 and 2. Select local and out-of-state dealers will offer a wide variety of quality antique furniture, books, ceramics, glass, jewelry, linens, memorabilia, paper, toys, pottery, primitives, and vintage accessories in the Event Center.
Show hours: Feb. 1 – WheatonArts Members Preview at 9:30 a.m. General Public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Feb. 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5.00 per person. Sweets Suite Bake Shoppe Café will be in the Event Center with a menu featuring a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches baked goods and refreshments. In addition, admission to the show includes an opportunity to visit the Museum of American Glass and shop in WheatonArts’ award winning Museum Stores.
(WheatonArts is a participant in Museums on Us®, a customer-benefit program offering free admission for a Bank of America cardholder to the finest museums and cultural institutions from coast to coast on the first full weekend of each month of 2014. Cardholders will receive admission to the show.)

In Jan., Feb. and March the Museum of American Glass will be closed to install two new exhibitions and make changes to the display of the permanent collection. However, it will be open during the Antiques Show and the Quilt Show on March 15 and 16. The Artist Studios are also closed. The Museum Stores are open Fri., Sat. and Sun. only, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., during these three months. No ticket required. WheatonArts returns to its six-day operating schedule (Tues. through Sun., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on April 1.
