OCEAN CITY – On Nov. 17, 18-19: The Ocean City High School Drama Club presents a production of “You Can’t Take It With You” at the Hughes Performing Arts Center, 501 Atlantic Ave., at the High School. Dec. 7: The Ocean City Gardens Civic Assn. is sponsoring a Bus trip to Longwood Gardens as a fund raiser for various local charities and scholarships. The bus will leave the Tabernacle, 5th and Wesley Ave., at 11 a.m. and returns to Ocean City at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 and include transportation, entrance to the Gardens, a full meal and snacks on the bus. New Years Eve: First Night buttons are now available at Downtown Gillian’s, 838B Asbury Ave., seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also order buttons at www.firstnightocnj.com. First Night offers 60 entertainment programs on New Year’s Eve from 4 p.m. till midnight. Admission is $14 per person.
Now through Dec. 30: The Ocean City Historical Museum, 17th and Simpson Ave. is presenting Our Heritage in Quilts, featuring 27 from the Museum’s collection. One is from 1887. Museum hours are Tues.-Fri., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sat., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free, donations are greatly appreciated.
