OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Drama Guild presents “Footloose, the Musical” in the Hughes Performing Arts Center at the High School, 6th and Atlantic Ave. (April 25, 26 at 7 p.m., April 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.). Tickets are $12 and $15. Call (609) 399-1290 ext. 1442 for Tickets.
(April 27) Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweep, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., check in at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace for clean up supplies. All organizations and families are encouraged to participate in this annual Statewide event to help keep beaches clean and safe and protect the coastal environment. Call (609) 399-6111 ext. 9711.
(April 27-28) Boardwalk and Downtown Table Sales, from 6th to 14th St. on the Boardwalk and Asbury Ave.
Miss America will attend the 80th Miss New Jersey Pageant in Ocean City. The Pageant will be held at the Music Pier, June 13 through 15 with the Parade on June 12. Preliminary Nights are June 13 and 14. June 15 is the final with special guest, Miss America, Mallory Hagan who will participate in the program.

Tickets are $35 for each preliminary night only, $50 for the final only on Saturday, $110 for all three nights. Show time is 7 p.m. each night. An estimated $35,000 in scholarships will be awarded.
(May 25) Stand Up for the Seals, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for fallen Seals and other Spec Ops warriors will sponsor its first annual Beach Adventure Race that will include an obstacle course for adults and a sand challenge run for kids under 10. The event will also feature Stand Up Paddle Ocean Challenge. Contests start on the 4th Street Beach at 7:30 a.m. Teams and individuals interested in participating should access www.StandUP4SEALS.com.
StandUp4Seals is an official partner of “One Team One Fight” which includes the Navy SEAL Foundation and the 31 Heroes Project. Last Minute News: Rowan University RN-BSN Nursing students will hold a health fair on April 4 at the Ocean City Community Center, 17th and Simpson from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be door prizes. The public is invited.
