What a Feast it Was! Helping Fund Historic Cold Spring Village

ERMA – Historic Cold Spring Village kicked off its 2013 season with a fundraiser of historic proportion: Feasting on History, the 13th Annual Restaurant Gala was held at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at Cape May Airport here May 7.
Reportedly, over 800 attended what is billed one of the county’s premier social events of the year.
They mixed, mingled, and sampled delicacies from over 40 of Cape May County’s restaurants, plus local and regional wineries, breweries, and distributors, which donated popular foods, signature dishes, wine, craft beers and desserts.
Feasting on History not only supports the Village and its mission of historic preservation, history education and heritage tourism, it also offered guests the opportunity to celebrate their favorite restaurants, meet the chefs and owners, and make future dining plans.
Anne Salvatore, executive director of Historic Cold Spring Village thanks the presenting sponsor of the event, Sturdy Savings Bank, represented by President Gerald Reeves.
She also thanked Steve Williams, airports director, Delaware River and Bay Authority, which operates the Cape May County Airport, and John Sabella, partner in Ford Scott & Associates Certified Public Accountants. for assistance that made the event successful.
