AVALON – On June 11, the Wetlands Institute will be conducting a Terrapin release with Quinton Township Elementary. The teacher in charge along with her class have raised $600 to go towards the reconstruction of the Wetlands Institute’s dock. The school will arrive at 10am to the Wetlands Institute. The class will present the check to our Executive Director, Lenore Tedesco, and there will be a photo opp. A presentation in our lecture hall lasting about 30 to 45 minutes will immediately follow. Then we will depart for the Avalon kayak ramp where the terrapins will be released.
