West Cape May Strawberry Festival Announces Antertainment Lineup

CAPE MAY – The eagerly anticipated West Cape May Strawberry Festival announces that the well known local band Bluebone will headline the day. Playing from noon till 3pm, Bluebone describes themselves as “Burnin’ Blues and Smokin’ Boogie”.
In addition, starting at 3:15pm the annual favorite, Mark Jacopec and friends will samba down Broadway and into the park for a lively and interactive drumming experience that you do not want to miss.
The festival, this year on June 5 from 9am-5pm, is held annually on the first Saturday in June. Heralding in the early summer with the juicy and delicious Jersey strawberry, the day includes over 90 vendors selling art, antiques, clothing, etc as well as the famous strawberry shortcake booth manned jointly by the West Cape May Business Association and Animal Outreach. An array of Strawberries and Strawberry related foods, Strawberry tshirts, Strawberry stained glass, Strawberry jewelry and strawberry birdhouses will be for sale. Crab cakes, barbeque, smoothies, popcorn and donuts are also available.
Other activites include the crowning of the 2010 West Cape May Strawberry King and Queen at 3pm.
