COLD SPRING — Celebrate the holiday season the traditional way at Historic Cold Spring Village’s free Wassail Day event, to be held on Sat., Dec. 4 from 11a.m.-3pm.
Seasonal caroling will fill the Village lanes, and a special children’s sing-along will take place in the Welcome Center. Guests can also meet Father Christmas in the Country Store, which features a unique line of specialty and handmade gift ideas.
In addition, a selection of the Village’s historic buildings, dating back to 1691, will be open and adorned in holiday trimmings.
Historic Cold Spring Village is a non-profit, open air living history museum that portrays the daily life of a rural South Jersey community of the Early American era.
Its mission includes the preservation of 26 historic Cape May County buildings, history education and heritage tourism. The Village is a museum for all seasons.
