Tickets for Jersey Shore Pops on Sale Now

COURT HOUSE – Linda Gentille and The Jersey Shore Pops announce that individual tickets for the JSP Summer Concert Series are now on sale. Tickets are available online and directly at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center Box Office.
The Jersey Shore Pops 2013 Summer Concert Series will include eight concerts with a focus on international guest stars from around the world. The series will open at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center the last weekend in June. The eight-concert series is as follows:
“The Irish Tenor” – Starring amazing Broadway vocalist, Colm Fitzmaurice.
June 29, 7:30 p.m.
Broadway Tenor Colm Fitzmaurice thrills audiences around the world with his gorgeous tenor voice on Irish and Broadway favorites. He was one of the original pops guest artists during the opening season and returns now by popular demand.
“Star & Stripes Forever” – Starring JSP conductor & piano entertainer, Linda Gentille.
July 6, 7:30 p.m.
Conductor Linda Gentille performs a patriotic tribute to celebrate the music of the great American Composers such as Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, Joplin, Sousa and contemporary greats such as Billy Joel.
“Legends in Concert” – Starring French Canadian singing sensation, Claude Eric.
July 13, 7:30 p.m.
This popular casino and cruise headliner performs the music of Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Edith Piam, Charles Aznavour and Frankie Avalon.
“The Italian Tenor” – Starring Aaron Caruso.
July 21, 7:30 p.m.
One of the greatest singers of our time performs Italian and Broadway classics.
“Swingin’ Sixties” – Starring Jim Yester and the YesterDaze.
July 28, 7:30 p.m.
If you loved music of the Sixties and “The Association”, you will want to be here for this show. Jim Yester, original founding member of the Association and his band play all the great hits of both!
“Classics Rock!” – Starring conductor & pianist, Linda Gentille.
Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m.
This is a brand new show that Linda performs on cruises around the world with all her own arrangements of the most popular classics of all time!
“Music of “The Glenn Miller Orchestra”
Aug. 10, 7:30 p.m.
This show is going to be one of the highlights of the season that will feature all of the great hits of Glenn Miller.
“Sinatra & Friends” – Starring Peter Oprisko
Aug. 17, 7:30 p.m.
Back by popular demand yet again is this amazing singer of Sinatra standards. He performs the music of Sinatra and the Rat Pack with additional songs by Judy Garland. This show will close the 2013 summer concert series with a bang.
The Jersey Shore pops is led by conductor and pianist Linda Gentille. The orchestra is the newest orchestra in the state and is gaining in popularity each season. One of the attractions of the orchestra is the popularity of the music director and conductor Gentille, who is a major piano star in China and on major cruise lines such as Regent, Cunard, Princess and Oceania. Kay Aspell, managing director of the Middle Township Performing Arts Center states, “The Jersey Shore Pops has become a huge attraction here in Cape May County because of the outstanding shows produced and arranged by Gentille. The shows have grown each year and are now the most popular concert series we have ever hosted here at the PAC. Gentille is a charismatic entertainer and conductor who also arranges most of the music for the orchestra which sets her apart from the other orchestra leaders in the state.”
The individual tickets will range from $25 for balcony seating to $40 for VIP orchestra center seating. Discounted season tickets range from $75- $220 . To purchase either season or individual tickets, please call the JSP Ticket Office at 800-838-3006 or the PAC at 609 463-1924. Tickets can be purchased online or in person and student ID must be showed for ticketing. The PAC is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for walk in ticket purchase and is located at the Middle Township High School , Exit 10 (GSP).
