What’s up this weekend? Check out some of the February fun set to take place throughout Cape May County!
Ladies Night–Shopping and Zumba
Friday, February 21st from 6:30 to 9 pm
Where: Cape May County Technical High School – Auxiliary Gym, Cape May Court House
Representatives from many home-based companies including but not limited to Tastefully Simple, Smooches Scrubs and Big Daddy Burners, Premier Jewelry, Oragami Owl, IT Works Ultimate Body Wraps, Thirty-One Bags, Avon, Mary Kay, Dove Chocolates, Scentsy, Wildtree All Natural Herbs,Arbonne Skin Care and Nutrition, and more…
4-H Legopalooza II
Saturday, February 22nd from 11 am to 2 pm
Where: Lockwood 4-H Youth Center – 355 Court House–S. Dennis Road, Cape May Court House
4-H Legopalooza is back! The popular day of Lego-themed fun for youth will take place Feb. 22 at the Lockwood 4-H Youth Center. The event will include hands-on Lego stations, a Lego Builds and Bashes Contest and screenings of new Brick Films.
Participants are invited to bring their own Lego creations to showcase and enter in a Lego Builds and Bashes Contest. Entries must be dropped off from 10 am to 11 am. The first 20 to register will receive a free Lego kit. Legopalooza II is free and open to the public. In order to help plan the event, preregistration is requested at (609) 465-5115, ext. 605. The Cape May County 4-H Foundation will run a concession stand with lunch items for sale.
Fallen Hero Polar Plunge
Saturday, February 22nd from 11 am to 6 pm
Where: North Wildwood Lifeguard Station – 15th & beach, North Wildwood
Keenan’s Irish Pub will be hosting our 5th annual Leprechaun Polar Bear Plunge on Feb. 22. All proceeds will go to help support Philadelphia Fallen Hero’s Survival Fund and also a scholarship in memory of Ricky Lannetti to promote MRSA awareness.
The plunge will be at 11 am on the 15th street beach in North Wildwood, hosted once again by All Gorman, with special guest Timmy Kelly. Music will be by Masquerade, Vince Schneider and the Corner Boys and Friday evening with the Juliano Brothers. Please check our website, at www,fallenheroplunge.com for updates.
Bishop McHugh’s “Casino Night”
Saturday, February 22nd from 6 to 11 pm
Where: The Ocean Drive – 40th and Landis Ave, Sea Isle City
Bishop McHugh Regional School’s “Casino Night” Fundraiser is Saturday, Feb. 22 at The Ocean Drive, 40th and Landis Avenue. Admission is $40 per person and the event will feature live entertainment, raffle prizes and a silent auction with many items from Sea Isle City businesses. For tickets, email PTA@bishopmchugh.com.
Love of Linda Cancer Fund Beef ‘n Beer with The Chatterband
Saturday, February 22nd from 8 pm to midnight
Where: Bolero Resort – 3320 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood
The Love of Linda Cancer Fund Beef ‘n Beer with The Chatterband will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Bolero Resort in Wildwood! Come out for a fun night for a great cause! Great music, food, 50/50, and auctions! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Bolero front desk.
