Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash Convention
When: Friday, August 16th – Sunday, August 18th from 9 am to 6 pm
Where: Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Come out to enjoy a weekend full of incredible tattoo artistry and fun events. Also, check out famous national tattoo artists, live tattooing, a traveling tattoo museum, contests, and much more! For more info, call (609) 729-9000.
John Walter Band Concert
When: Friday, August 16th from 8 pm to 10 pm
Where: Rotary Park, Cape May
The John Walter Band, celebrating its 17th anniversary this year, is devoted to those among us who have music as a vocation – whether as a profession or just as a serious hobby. It was started by John Walter, who wanted to provide an outlet for musicians to get together on a regular basis, and to express themselves musically and have fun. We play concerts throughout the year for interested communities, organizations and groups. We are always looking for musicians who would like to join our band for a great experience and fun. Dom Irrera & Friends Comedy Beach Bash
When: Saturday, August 17th from 8 pm to 11 pm
Where: Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority proudly presents the Comedy Beach Bash starring one of the great all-time kings of comedy Dom Irrera, along with Pat House and Chris Coccia, for one hilarious show in the Starlight Ballroom at the Wildwoods Convention Center at 9 p.m. (Doors open at 8 p.m.) Tickets are $28 for reserved seating and $38 for VIP seating which includes a meet and greet. Morey’s Piers Coastin’ by the Ocean
When: Saturday, August 17th – Sunday, August 18th 8:45 am – 10 pm
Where: Morey’s Piers, 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Morey’s Piers welcomes amusement ride enthusiasts from all over the world during Coastin’ by the Ocean – an exciting and informative annual social gathering designed for members of amusement park related clubs and their guests. Amusement ride enthusiast clubs connect individuals who are passionate about thrill rides, as well as connoisseurs of technical information and the rich history of amusement parks. This two-day weekend offers exclusive ride times, a behind the scenes tour and beach camping.
16th Annual Wacky Wave Surf Contest
When: Saturday, August 17th from 10 am to 2 pm
Where: Rambler Rd., Wildwood Crest
The Atlantic Surfers’ Organization presents its 16th Annual Wacky Wave Surf Contest. Wear a costume, bring your craziest surf moves, and help us raise money for the Woody Hall Memorial Surf Scholarship with your $10 donation. From 10am to 12 is registration, music and surf-around time. The contest begins at noon with the Silly Paddle Race. Tandem, push-in, and age group heats follow. All ages and abilities welcome. Free Concert Under the Stars feat. Hollywood Nights
When: Saturday, August 17th from 8 pm to 10 pm
Where: Excursion Park, JFK Blvd. and Pleasure Ave., Sea Isle City
Quiksilver Grom Test
When: Sunday, August 18th from 8:30 am to 5 pm
Where: 37th Street Beach, Sea Isle City

United Way Rubber Ducky Regatta
When: Sunday, August 18th from 7 pm to 8 pm
Where: Raging Waters, 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Watch as yours and thousands of rubber ducks race around the lazy river at Raging Waters for great prizes to benefit the United Way, Boardwalk at Schellenger Ave. Arrive early to enjoy tons of pre-Regatta action including: An acrobatics and contortionist performance by the students of Art of Gymnastics and Cheer and members of the New Jersey Acrobatic & Contortion Company (NJACC); Miss New Jersey 2012 Lindsey Petrosh will provide free face painting on the Pier from 4-6 pm; The 95.1 WAYV party patrol will also be on site starting at 4pm with games, prizes and chances to win concert tickets to the Made in America Concert in Philadelphia on Aug. 31 featuring Beyoncé.
