THE WILDWOODS — The popular parking lot and lawn game returns to the Wildwoods beach with the 5th Annual Wildwood Cornhole Tournament on July 12 and July 13. Teams can compete in any or all of the three tournaments over the two days, all vying for cash and prizes. Teams will test their accuracy with bean bags and try to slide, bounce, roll and swish their way to 21 points before their opponents can.
Two tournaments will take place July 13 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The winning team from each tournament will receive a professional cornhole set! Registration is only $20 per team per tournament. $5 from every team entry in both of Saturday’s tournaments will go directly to the Lunch with Lynch charity organization.
The July 13 tournament will begin with a mandatory meeting at 10 a.m. and bags will start flying at 10:30 a.m. The top six teams will receive cash prizes, and the grand prize winner from Sunday’s tournament will be awarded $1,000 cash. Free event t-shirts will be given to all Sunday players. Registration for Sunday is $45 per team ($50 day of).
All tournaments will take place on the beach at Wildwood Avenue. Registration can be done online or by mail-in form prior to the event. Registration will also be available day of the event.
