The Jersey Shore Pops Looking for New Members

COURT HOUSE – The Jersey Shore Pops is looking for new members who wish to support the arts in Cape May County. The Jersey Shore Pops is a 25 member pops orchestra based in Cape May Courthouse at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center. The organization has grown from 100 annual season ticket holders to 150 in the past year since it’s first season in 2010. The hour long meeting will be held at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center located at the high school in Cape May Court House. Thursday, August 4, 2011, The Jersey Shore Pops will host a membership meeting from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
The meeting will consist of areas where members can help with the promotion of shows and induction of new members. Posters and promotional postcards will be distributed to those wishing to help with distribution. Refreshments and light snacks will be served and there is no charge to attend this membership meeting.
Jersey Shore Pops is a New Jersey non-profit corporation and is comprised of professional musicians from all over South Jersey. The non-profit arts organization is looking for members who wish to support the arts either financially or with promotion of events and concerts. Members who attend will be given promotional materials for the upcoming season. Membership to the organization is free and open to the public.
