The 2014 Little Miss & Jr. Miss Sea Isle City Pageant is July 9

SEA ISLE CITY — July 9, Sea Isle City’s Division of Tourism will host the resort’s 2014 Little Miss & Jr. Miss Sea Isle City Pageant at 7:00 p.m. inside the Saint Joseph Auditorium, located at 44th Street and Central Avenue in Sea Isle City. The Little Miss competition (for girls, age 5 to 8) and the Jr. Miss portion of the event (for girls, age 9 to 12) are open to year-round and summer residents of Sea Isle City, students of Bishop McHugh Regional School and residents of campgrounds immediately adjacent to Sea Isle City.
During this charming competition, entrants will answer questions and perform in group song-and-dance numbers. Older beauty queens from the surrounding region will also entertain audience members during the pageant.
In addition to flowers and trophies for the pageant’s top winners, prizes will be awarded to the runners-up in both divisions. The 2014 Little Miss and 2014 Junior Miss Sea Isle City will also receive sparkling tiaras, donated by Groovy Girlz and It’s A Girlz Thing on Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City. Additionally, each contestant in the pageant will receive a gift bag, also donated by Groovy Girlz and It’s A Girlz Thing.
The deadline to enter a child in the 2014 Little Miss & Jr. Miss Sea Isle City Pageant is 4:00 p.m. July 7. Application forms can be obtained at the Sea Isle City Welcome Center (300 JFK Boulevard), at the City’s Recreation Services Building (6108 Central Avenue), at City Hall (4501 Park Road), and online at www.VisitSICNJ.us.
