WILDWOOD CREST – One of the hottest performance bands on the East Coast is set to play Wildwood Crest Centennial Park this weekend as the Wildwood Crest Summer Live Music Series continues.
Symphonic Soul, a New York-based band, takes the stage at Centennial Park Saturday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and will perform a vast array of music, including standards, Motown, disco, R&B, funk, soul, Latin and pop hits from the 1970s through today.
Symphonic Soul performs with the excitement and tightness of a Las Vegas show band, complete with top-of-the-line choreography, a handful of interactive lead vocalists, a talented rhythm section and a scintillating five-piece horn section. The band has played to audiences all over the country at casinos, weddings, theatres, corporate events and many more venues.
This all-ages show is FREE and open to the entire family. Those attending the show should bring a blanket or a chair. Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. Free parking for the show is available at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.
Centennial Park hosts FREE live musical performances each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday through Sept. 3.
During all Wednesday and Saturday shows, Centennial Park also features a model train arrangement to entertain kids and adults alike. The model trains are located in the southwest corner of the park.
