Sunday Night at the Movies April 21

RIO GRANDE – Enjoy Sunday Night at the Movies, April 21, to see “Rudy,” a fact-based drama about the triumph of the human spirit and a scrawny high school kid named Rudy Ruettiger who dreams of playing football at Notre Dame. But his father can’t afford to send him, so he ends up at a college across the street instead. Undaunted, Rudy eventually transfers to his dream school, Notre Dame. Rated PG.
Movie time is 7 p.m. at The Branches, next to St. Mary’s Thrift Shop, behind Family Dollar on Rt. 47, N. 2nd St & E. Vermont Ave, Rio Grande.
There is no charge and the evening is open to everyone. Movie goers can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages; discussion follows the movie.
