The West Cape May Strawberry Festival will be held this year on Saturday, June 4 with a rain date of Sunday June 5.
This much-anticipated community event celebrates the beginning of the summer season and the season of fresh fruits and vegetables available in New Jersey.
More than 90 vendors will be selling antiques, art, crafts, clothing, jewelry, and birdhouses, as well as offering barbeque, crabcakes, corn, and more.
Strawberries will reign supreme though, with strawberry tacos, strawberry smoothies, strawberry wine, and of course the famous Strawberry Shortcake, as well as strawberry t-shirts, strawberry jewelry, strawberry plants, strawberry pottery, strawberry stained glass, and many, many fresh strawberries!
Entertainment this year will include the favorite local blues band — Bluebone, from noon till 3 p.m.
Robin Hippell and Amy will be singing duets from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., and as always, the stars of the show, Mark Jacopec and friend’s Drum Troupe at 3:15 p.m.

The West Cape May Strawberry Festival is held in Wilbraham Park at the corners of Broadway and Sunset. It is an all-day event sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association.
