Stop Common Core Meeting Set May 20

By Sponsored Content

WILDWOOD – Concerned Citizens of Southern N.J. will host a meeting to explore Common Core, what it is and how to stop it Mon. May 20, at the Carpenter’s Shop, 4505 Park Blvd. Doors open 6:30 p.m.
Special guest speaker will be State President Carolee Adams, New Jersey Eagle Forum- a national organization which has led a national pro-family movement since 1972.
Adams is a lifelong New Jersey resident and Bergen County committeewoman and conservative since she first volunteered with the Ronald Reagan campaign in the 1970s. She successfully proposed pro-parental rights legislation in New Jersey and in the United States Congress. These proposals led to laws that protect the rights of parents in religious, private and home schools on the national level and against intrusive student surveys in New Jersey.
She proposed legislation opposing Outcome Based Education and School-To-Work-To-College-To-Career movements. She is now helping us to resist the Common Core State Standards which are due to be implemented this fall.
Adams continues to lobby on fiscal and social issues statewide, and in Washington, D.C., and recently invited by the New Jersey Second Amendment Society to speak on Faith, Family and Freedom.
