SEA ISLE CITY – Twice each year, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization hosts a “Girls Weekend,” featuring discounts and special offers at businesses throughout town. This year’s Spring Girls Weekend on March 23-25 included live music and dancing, an ice-cream social, free refreshments, buy-one-get-one free offers, discounted pedicures, gifts with purchase, deals on hotel stays and savings on a wide variety of merchandise at local shops and boutiques. There also were many enticing food and drink specials at Sea Isle’s popular eateries and a wine-tasting event at a local spirit and wine supplier.
“We had a great turn-out of shoppers all weekend,” said Jamie Heritage, owner of Heritage Surf and Sport Shop on Landis Avenue. “People expected great deals – and that’s just what they found! Some ladies even told us that they are already looking forward to our next Girls Weekend in November.”
