Sports and Musical Festival – Updated Ticket Levels

UPDATE: Although the concert is free, you must have a ticket to enter the concert area. While the free general admission tickets are sold out, there are VIP and cabana packages still available which include 3 different ticket levels: $25 Pit Passes which get the ticket holder front row viewing; $35 VIP tickets which include access to the VIP tent, and pit passes; and the Cabana Packages, sponsored by Svedka Vodka, which are $1,000 and include a cabana rental for the day for 8 people, waitress service, free draft beer, a meet and greet with all artists, pit passes, VIP tent access and a complementary beach package including towels and sun tan lotion. These ticket levels are available for purchase through www.wjserocks.com, www.philadelphiasoul.com and www.ticketfly.com.
PREVIOUS: The 13,000 free tickets for the Wildwoods’ 106.3 WJSE and Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam Sports and Music Festival are now sold out. The free tickets were made available for download on July 1 and sold out within 36 hours.
The 106.3 WJSE and Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam Sports and Music Festival will take place on Aug. 24 starting at 11 a.m. on the Wildwood beach between Mariner’s Landing Amusement Pier at Schellenger Avenue and Adventure Pier at Spencer Avenue. The concert will feature headline bands including Fuel, Hoobastank and Alien Ant Farm plus special guests.
While free tickets are no longer available, VIP and Cabana Packages are available for sale. There are three different ticket levels available: $50 VIP tickets include access to the VIP tent, pit passes and two drink tickets, $70 VIP tickets include access to the VIP tent, pit passes and two drink tickets and also includes a meet and greet with a band of the ticketholders’ choosing; and the Cabana Packages sell for $1,000 and include a cabana rental for the day for eight people, Svedka bottle service, waitress service, draft beer, a Meet and Greet with all artists, pit passes, VIP tent access and a beach package including towels and sun tan lotion. “We’re thrilled at the response we’ve gotten for this free beach concert on the Wildwoods beach,” John Siciliano, Executive Director/CFO for GWTIDA explained. “Having the free ticket downloads being sold out within 36 hours confirms to us that this will be a great event,” he continued.
“We have such a strong lineup of headliner bands performing at this free summer beach concert and are ecstatic to see ticket downloads sell out so quickly,” said Coastal Broadcasting’s owner and president Bob Maschio.
PREVIOUS: More than 12,000 tickets for the Wildwoods’ 106.3 WJSE and Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam Sports and Music Festival were reserved in the first few hours of going on sale on July 1. Only approximately 2,000 remain and promoters are urging concert-goers to reserve their tickets now before this free event on the beach “sells” out.
The 106.3 WJSE and Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam Sports and Music Festival will take place on Saturday, August 24 starting at 11 a.m. on the Wildwood beach between Mariner’s Landing Amusement Pier at Schellenger Avenue and Adventure Pier at Spencer Avenue. The concert will feature headline bands including Fuel, Hoobastank and Alien Ant Farm. (Concert line-up update: Due to the cancellation of the entire Lit Concert Tour; Lit will not be performing in the Wildwoods for this event. However, an additional headline band will be added to the lineup at a later date.)

The Sports and Music Festival is presented by 106.3 WJSE Radio with additional sponsorships from the Philadelphia Soul, Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, Coors Light, the City of Wildwood, Walgreens, Svedka Vodka, Metro PCS, and the Wildwood Special Improvement District. This free concert will take place in conjunction with the Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam, now in its eighth consecutive year, and a large flag football tournament organized by the Philadelphia Sport and Social Club. In addition to the musical acts provided by WJSE, the 106.3 WJSE and Philadelphia Soul Summer Slam Sports and Music Festival will feature Coors Light beer sales, soda and food vendors, along with a silent auction table with autographed items from the Philadelphia Soul team, owner Ron Jaworski and other Philadelphia sports teams as well as interactive rides and games for kids. The Soul will also be holding a Merchandise Blowout Sale for fans to bring home their favorite Soul gear. In attendance will be Soul players, coaches, the Soulmates and team mascot Soulman.
