VILLAS – Patriotic music featuring the marches of John Philip Sousa will be presented in a free program on the grounds of the historic Fishing Creek School, June 14 at 6 p.m.
The summer music program is presented by the Friends of the Fishing Creek School with music provided by the Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities.nRich Chiemingo, a living history interpreter and musician, will appear as Sousa and offer insights into the music and life of the “March King.”
Friends of the Fishing Creek School will offer picnic fare, including hot dogs, pizza and drinks on a donation basis.
The Fishing Creek School, a Lower Township community center, is located at 2600 Bayshore Rd. near the corner of Arizona Avenue and Bayshore Road.
