Singer-Songwriter Event Set at Congress Hall

CAPE MAY – Singers and Songwriters alike are invited to participate in this music maker conference hosted by the famous landmark Congress Hall in Cape May. This event features two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, clinics, mentoring & demo listening sessions and musical keynotes at the historic Congress Hall Hotel & Harrison Conference Center.
Cape May comes alive with music all weekend long, as selected artists shine and their talents are celebrated nightly with live dynamic and exciting showcase performances at local venues. The community is invited to share in the celebration of independent artists at the Singer-Songwriter Cape May event’s showcase venues. All showcase performances will be free and open to the public.
In addition to showcase performances, this event will bring featured performers to the stage as well. On Fri., March 30, Christine Martucci plus special guests will be performing in Congress Hall’s Grand Ballroom at 8 p.m. Tickets for this show are $10. On Sat., March 31, come see Todd Sheaffer of Railroad Earth plus special guests in Congress Hall’s Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $15 and the show begins at 8 p.m.
This event is designed for singer-songwriters of all genres and those interested in the music industry. The focus will be on emerging and established talent networking with each other, music industry professionals and the community.
Music industry professionals attend this event as performers, speakers, mentors, and talent scouts. They share their experience and network with musicians, songwriters, students, and registrants during the afternoon educational seminars, mentoring sessions and hang out for the nightly showcases performances. Networking with other musicians and industry professionals will provide the education, tools and contacts to help advance careers.
The music business conference is open to the public but requires registration which can be done at www.sscapemay.com.
Registration is $75 for daytime events at Congress Hall. Registration includes: Cape May All Access Personalized Laminate, Program/Directory and Cape May Compilation CD. Your laminate is your all access pass to all Singer-Songwriter Event business sessions, showcases, VIP receptions and industry meet and greets. Some local showcase venues and restaurants give discounts to those with laminates. Conference registration credentials are required to attend the daytime events held at Congress Hall. Discounted registration available for students, military, NARAS, BMI, and SEASAC members.
