Senior Jamboree Set Tomorrow in Avalon

AVALON — The Cape May County Department of Aging will host the annual Senior Jamboree tomorrow, May 6, at the Avalon Community Center, 30th & the Beach. This event, is held each year in honor of Older American’s Month.
The doors will open promptly at 10 a.m. There will be live entertainment, dancing, and local high school students will serve a free lunch to everyone. Additionally, awards will be given to the “Senior of the Year” – female and male and to the “Organization of the Year”.
The free event is open to all Cape May County senior residents, age 60 or over. So, put on your favorite attire, some comfortable shoes and come join the fun.
