A major favorite was the water slide, always a pleasant treat on a summer afternoon.
Sgt. First Class Patrick McCarthy from the National Guard was on hand to provide information and play games with the youth.
Also present to speak with the youngsters was Dwayne Hendricks, former Giants defense tackle #74 who showed off his 2011 Super Bowl winning ring. He is engaged to Councilwoman Perez’s niece Jessica Maria.
