Sea Isle City Poet Places Third in National Contest

By Press Release

SEA ISLE CITY – Sea Isle City writer, poet, and creative writing teacher Eva Feeley recently earned a Third Place prize in the Eber & Wein Publishing National Amateur Poetry Competition for her poem “Want Not”.
This is the second time Feeley has earned a Third Place prize in this national competition. This is considered quite an accomplishment as thousands of entries are received from all over the nation.
Feeley was awarded a plaque and received a letter from Rachel Eber, president of Eber & Wein Publishing, informing her that the “judging staff selected ‘Want Not’ for its poetic merit, which is a true testament of your effort, talent, and dedication to this craft.”
The poem “Want Not” is included in Feeley’s collection of poetry “Survivors of Snake Bites” which is available through Comteq Publishing of Margate, NJ or through the author.
