SEA ISLE CITY — Sat. and Sun., April 5 & 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sea Isle City’s Volunteer Ambulance Corps will host an Arts and Craft Fair that will raise funds to purchase rescue equipment and help the Ambulance Corps complete their mission: saving lives anytime they are needed.
The Arts and Craft Fair will take place inside Sea Isle’s Community Lodge, 300 JFK Boulevard, where over 30 vendors will sell a variety of handmade items. The event will feature one-of-a-kind, merchandise, including jewelry, glassware, birdhouses, hand-knitted items, seasonal decorations, woodwork, baby goods, items created from recycled materials such as storm debris, and other artisan crafts.
“We have Ambulance Corps members and paramedics participating, as well as many other talented artisans,” says Ambulance Corps Chief Kris Lynch. “All of the items on sale will be very unique and creative, and I am sure everyone will like the one-of-a-kind crafts and artwork. Operational costs are sky-rocking, even for a volunteer organization such as ours. We think this is going to be a unique fundraiser that many people will enjoy.”
“Our goal is to offer handmade crafts and give exposure to local artisans while raising funds for our efforts,” said co-organizer Donna Raffa. “The selection of merchandise will be wonderful.”
