It’s the spookiest time of the year at the Village! Stop by the 18th Annual Pumpkin Festival and celebrate all things Halloween and autumn.
This festive event will take place on the grounds of Historic Cold Spring Village on Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 4:30 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, Oct. 18) and is presented by the Lower Township Rotary Club.
Admission is free and select Village buildings will be open to the public from 11am-3pm; guests are encouraged to “share the harvest” by donating non-perishable goods to the Cape May County Food Bank.
Pumpkin painting and children’s games will be in abundance and a variety of crafters will sell their wares along the Village’s shell-paved lanes.
Visit a haunted house at the Village Barn and hop on a hayride around the Village Farm. Don’t miss the Children’s Halloween Parade held at noon throughout the Village lanes. Please call the Lower Township Recreation Department at (609) 886-7880 for registration information.
Vendors will be selling hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels, funnel cake, and other snacks. The Village Country Store will be offering special fall sales on heritage goods and great holiday gifts (discount excludes Village artisans’ wares).
The Village is located on Route 9, three miles north of Victorian Cape May and a mile and a half west of the southern terminus of the Garden State Parkway. For more information, call (609) 898-2300, ext. 10 or visit the Village website at www.hcsv.org.
