Pooches Celebrating Mother’s Day in Stone Harbor

By Press Release

STONE HARBOR – On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, join the fun in Stone Harbor at the 1st Annual Pooches and their (human) Moms Look-a-like Contest. The event takes place at 2 PM in front of Paw Prints, 281 96th Street during the Stone Harbor Sail Into Summer Coastal Living Festival. We invite all moms to stop by the festival and bring their pooches dressed for the occasion as a panel of judges decides which pooch and their human mom look the most alike. Moms and pooches will all be awarded prizes.
The Sail Into Summer Coastal Living Festival takes place on both Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 in the heart of the downtown business district along 96th Street. The merchants along 96th Street and in the downtown will all be displaying the latest fashions and accessories for the upcoming season. In addition, there will be food vendors, crafters and exhibitors lining the streets. And for the kids there is face painting, turtles from the Wetlands Institute, sand art and a bounce house and entertainment all weekend long.
