VILLAS — The second annual local art show and sale of local artist Tom Pohlig will be held Saturday May 29 and Sunday, May 30, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 1300 Bayshore Road (In the Villas Karate Studio, next to Repici Real Estate and Boys n’ Toys). Come celebrate the art of Cape May County through the eyes of Thomas Pohlig.
Pohlig has been painting in the Cape May area for more than 20 years. The show will include original watercolor paintings, signed limited edition prints, posters and black and white photography, including more than 15 new works and the 2010 Victorian Week Poster.
Pohlig’s works include sunsets of Cape May beach, beach and bay landscapes, surfers surfing at sunset and Cape May’s gardens and architecture.
Part of the proceeds will be used to create a tuition scholarship for an outstanding student of the Villas Kum Sung Martial Arts School.
