OCEAN CITY — The Ocean City Historical Museum announces its Thursday Nights at the Museum summer lecture series, which concludes on Sept. 2.
On Aug. 26, Michael McMahon will showcase Then & Now, a Pictorial Essay of Ocean City. See historic Ocean City photographs from the Museum’s collection, which will be compared to present day photographs of Ocean City landmarks. See what has changed and what has stayed the same.
On Sept. 2nd enjoy The Roaring ‘20s: What We Were Singing with Drs. Richard and Rebecca Stanislaw. They will discuss and sing a selection of songs that were common during the 1920s. This will be the last presentation in this series. There will be a special reception from 6:30 to 7 p.m. in the museum.
All lectures are free. The lectures will be held at 7:00 PM in the new lecture hall at the Ocean City Public Library/Community Center, 1735 Simpson Ave.
The lecture series is made possible through an outreach-funding grant provided by the Ocean City Free Public Library Board of Trustees. Additional funding support provided by the City of Ocean City.
