COLD SPRING VILLAGE — Ever wondered how ghost hunters hunt or how psychic mediums conjure? Learn all about paranormal investigation, and more, at Historic Cold Spring Village’s ‘Paranormal Pursuits’ event, to be held the evening of Sat., Nov. 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The event will feature a variety of local and regional scientific paranormal investigators and psychic mediums to interact with guests in a selection of the Village’s historic buildings. Demonstrations and discussions on scientific ‘ghost-hunting’ include the Cape Atlantic Paranormal Research Society (CAPRS) who will be setting up an exhibit of their equipment, including an infrared camera with viewing monitor of activity in other areas of the building.
South Jersey native George Kurtz will also display equipment as well as a photo collection of images from prior investigations including historic sites.
Psychic mediums will discuss their gift and how it is used to connect to the other side. Featured mediums include Francine Milano and Lynnie van Praagh, of the well-known family of clairvoyants.

There will also be demonstrations of divining rods, which are used to detect various levels of energy fields, a technique often used in spiritual investigations.
