EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Have a Heart for Hunger Christmas ornaments supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey/Southern Branch are available for sale at the FoodBank located at 6735 Black Horse Pike and at Kathleen’s Closet Second Chance Shop at the Shore Mall both in Egg Harbor Township, and in Cape May County at The Flying Fish Studio, 130 Park Blvd., West Cape May and the West End Garage, 484 W. Perry Street, Cape May.
The cost is $15 and the ornaments make great stocking stuffers or office gift exchange. Great for keeping or giving.
This ornament is a one of a kind design by local artist Matt Long, created specifically for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey/Southern Branch as a larger piece of original art that was auctioned off at the FoodBank’s Beach Ball this past summer.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch serves Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Southern Burlington counties. In 2009 it distributed 5.7 million pounds of food to those in need, a 36 percent increase over the previous year.
