Ohio Producer to Present Dance Competitions at Middle PAC

COURT HOUSE – The Performing Arts Center of Middle Township is becoming a popular site for professional dance companies from throughout the nation to present their regional and national dance competitions.
Recently, the Las Vegas-based Dance USA participated in the PAC’s four month dance festival by holding a regional competition for youngsters from Cape May and Atlantic Counties. On April 12, for 12 hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. the NexStar company of Xenia, Ohio, will host contests for South Jersey youngsters in various dance categories at The PAC. Those with the highest scores in the regionals will be eligible to compete in national contests in Sandusky, Ohio, from June 24 to July 8, and in Orlando, Florida, from July 14 to 20.
Regional competition sponsored by NexStar began in January in Fresno, California. The company will come to the performing arts center from Woodbridge, Va. and will then head to Denver, Colorado, later in April for a regional competition there. Scheduled to come to The PAC in June and July are companies from New York ,Maryland and Pennsylvania.
The public is invited and admission to The Pac and on-premises parking are free. The center is located at 212 Bayberry Drive, Cape May Court House, one mile east of exit 10 of the Garden State Parkway.
