SEA ISLE CITY – People of all ages will enjoy Sea Isle City’s 2011 Octoberfest celebration on Sat., Oct. 22. This enjoyable nod to German culture, hosted by the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce/Revitalization, will take place at Excursion Park, JFK Boulevard and the Beach, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the event of rain, Octoberfest will take place inside the Sea Isle City Public School, 45th and Park Road.
Sea Isle’s Octoberfest activities will include a variety of family fun, including many attractions that kids will love, such as a free moon bounce, giant obstacle course, face painter, balloon-twister and tattoo artist. There will also be a pumpkin painting station, free hay rides on the beach, and live oom-pah music provided by The Philadelphia German Brass Band.
The Octoberfest Annual Pie Baking Contest will be enjoyed by everyone with a sweet tooth.
