STONE HARBOR – In conjunction with the Memorial Day weekend art exhibition at Ocean Galleries (Stone Harbor, NJ), legendary marine life artist and ardent conservation, Wyland, will support the neighboring Wetlands Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching conservation and helping the coastal ecosystems thrive. Wyland will be touring the Wetlands Institute during his weekend visit, with a special reception and fundraiser to take place at Ocean Galleries on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 5:30 PM.
Wyland’s One Ocean, One Planet, One Artist Exhibition will open on Friday, May 27, 2011 and run through Monday, May 30, 2011. Wyland will make gallery appearances at receptions on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
