Ocean City welcomes Miss New Jersey

The New Jersey Education Foundation announced their 2009 Boardwalk Parade will take place June 17 on Ocean City’s boardwalk beginning at 7 p.m.
The reigning Miss New Jersey, Ashley Fairfield, and more than 20 of the state’s most talented young women will be the guests of honor hosting the celebration of “Under the Sea Over the Boards.”
The parade committee welcomes high schools bands, marching groups, cheerleaders, dance troops, scout troops, entertainers, clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers, plus business and civic organizations who would like to participate.
Entry forms and further information can be obtained from Maribeth Neall at 609-398-2743, mbneall@yahoo.com, or fax to 609-391-1057. Include the group’s name, address, and phone number.
All forms must be returned by May 22.
