Ocean City Theatre Company Announces Audition for 2014

OCEAN CITY – The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) will be holding auditions for their upcoming season March 16, 2014 at the Ocean City Community Center. Casting will be for three Broadway style productions including Guys and Dolls, TBA Musical and Swing!. OCTC will also be casting adult actors for their 2014 Theatre-For-Young Audiences (TYA) season. TYA shows will be performed in Ocean City, Cape May and at Stockton College. The TYA Season includes The Cat in the Hat, Cinderella, How I Became A Pirate, Stuart Little and The Berenstain Bears.
Auditions are by appointment only. Performers should prepare two contrasting 16-32 bar selections and be ready to dance if asked. A musical theatre/jazz dance combination will be taught. If needed callbacks may be held after the dance calls. No kids or youth under the age of 17 will be seen at this audition! Accompanist provided.
Those interested in casting should have daytime availability and professional/college theatre experience. On March 18 and 19, OCTC will head to the Big Apple for their open call in New York City. They expect to see over 500 musical theatre performers between the three auditions.
