OC Tabernacle Hosts Former Globetrotter

OCEAN CITY – Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 3pm Ocean City Tabernacle Kull Youth Center will be hosting Meadowlark Lemon, one of the most famous Harlem Globetrotters and basketball performers of all time. Meadowlark Lemon is not only an American basketball player, but also an actor and minister. For 22 years, Lemon was known as the “Clown Prince” of the touring Harlem Globetrotters basketball team. He played in more than 16,000 games for the Globetrotters and is a 2003 inductee of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Saturday, April 16 he will be doing a basketball demonstration along with sharing about his personal journey of faith. This is a free event and is open to the public—designed for the whole family. The Kull Youth Center is located at 550 Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ.
