North Wildwood Set to Rock on July 19

By Press Release

NORTH WILDWOOD – Mark your calendars for July 19 and make sure you’re at the Lou Booth Amphitheater, Second and Ocean avenues in North Wildwood!
The first event at the theater by the beach is the Crowning of Miss North Wildwood at 7 p.m. On the day before, some very attractive and poised young women will have competed for the crown.
The Pageant consists of an interview with the Pageant Committee who will judge the contestants on talents that would make them excellent representatives of the City during all the special events throughout the year.
And right after the lucky contestant is crowned, Elvis will take the stage at 8 p.m.
Yes, Elvis, in Jesse Garron’s Tribute to Elvis. Garron is acclaimed as the “Closest Thing to the King.”
Garron has been performing his Tribute since 1998. Garron possesses the voice, looks and charisma that made Elvis a superstar. Jesse and the Jesse Garron Band perform songs that cross three generations of rock, pop, gospel and oldies music.
It’s a Vegas-style show and the audience loves it!
Jesse is a natural front-man, interacting with the crowd and signing autographs after the show. The group has a strong chemistry that permeates through the crowd and has them dancing in the street.
Jesse Garron’s Tribute to Elvis has shared the bill with acts such as Brett Michaels, Franki Valli, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, The Commodores and Wayne Newton in venues ranging from New York’s Westbury Music Fair and Louisiana’s Isle of Capri Casino to Delaware Park and Arizona’s Coolidge Days.
With two entertaining events in one, you’ll thoroughly enjoy yourself. Don’t miss it!
