North Wildwood Concerts Under the Stars Returns

NORTH WILDWOOD – Concerts under the Stars series returns to Lou Booth Amphitheater, Second and Ocean avenues.
On July 18 the show will feature the Main Street Cruisers.
Main Street Cruisers perform a high energy show featuring many Rock and Roll hits like “Pretty Woman,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Blue Moon,” and so much more! With their 50s-style bowling shirts, poodle skirts, tux jackets, dance routines and zany comedy, the Main Street Cruisers truly take you on a wild ride back to the 50s and 60s!
On July 20, dance to Stayin Alive (Bee Gees Tribute)!
Experience the songs and sights of the Bee Gees singing blockbusters such as “Night Fever,” “Jive Talkin’,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” “You Should Be Dancing,” “Nights on Broadway,” and “Stayin’ Alive.” Stayin’ Alive offers big screen video clips, photos and dazzling imagery.
July 25 come see the family of entertainers known as The Quailes playing every style of music from Big Band to Rock. North Wildwoodians of “a certain age” will remember the Quailes appearing regularly at Cosey Morley’s Club Avalon through the 70s. This summer again, they’ll treat us to their renditions of 40s hits, as well as today’s Top 40s.
Then on July 27, Real Diamond, the premier Tribute to Neil Diamond stars Curtis DiDomizio. It’s a polished world-class show featuring favorites: “Sweet Caroline,” “I Am I Said,” and “Cracklin’ Rosie.” Here’s what The Times News had to say: “For anyone looking to get their Neil Diamond fix, Real Diamond shines like the real deal.” Don’t miss it!
On August 1, grab your beach chair, your suntan oil, and your favorite tropical drink, and get ready for a trip to the islands with Jimmy and the Parrots. One of the most requested Jimmy Buffett cover bands in the country, Jimmy and the Parrots perform not only all the great Buffett songs you love, they also play new and classic rock ‘n roll and favorites by the Beach Boys, Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith, Jerry Jeff Walker, Harry Belafonte, and Bob Marley, among many others. All ages love ‘em!
Aug. 3 | Lights Out
Lights Out, the popular Philadelphia vocal group, will perform many genres of music at their concert on August 3. Chad, Daniel, Rob, and Chris have worked with such legends as Boyz II Men, Rockapella, and have performed with Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood. And they’ll be right here this summer!
Aug. 8 | Blue Suede Shoes-A Tribute to Million Dollar Quartet
“The Million Dollar Quartet” is the smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the one and only time in one of the greatest jam sessions ever. On August 8, Blue Suede Shoes will celebrate a score of rock hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” and more. Catch it right on our beach!
