Music Students Come to Cape May County and Morey’s Piers for “Music in the Parks

By Press Release

WILDWOOD – Hundreds of music students participating in the Educational Programs Network program, “Music in the Parks,” arrive in Cape May County on Friday, May 14 to play music at Middle Township Performing Arts Center, and then “play” on Morey’s Piers, the nationally recognized seaside amusement park.

“Music in the Parks,” will draw music students from the tri-state area to compete in both band and choir at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center, and then come to Wildwood for the more than 100 rides and attractions at Morey’s Piers and Beachfront Waterparks. The music students will also gather at the Rendezvous Beach Picnic Pavilion on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing Pier for a dinner and an awards ceremony.

“This is the first time we have partnered with the respected ‘Music in the Parks,’” notes Merideth Fiorucci, Director of Group Services at Morey’s Piers. “The Morey’s Piers team is thrilled to host these talented students from schools across the state, and we look forward to watching this event grow in the years to come.”
