WILDWOOD – Over the weekend, the gates to Morey’s Fears – Terror on the Boardwalk lurched open to welcome brave guests for Morey’s Piers inaugural Halloween event. The event was very well-attended and guests were thrilled, chilled and thoroughly terrified with the attractions and abandoned theming of Mariner’s Landing.
“Our survey results are overwhelmingly positive,” said Dino Fazio, Director of Pier Operations. “Every guest we spoke with rated the event between very good and outstanding. 90% of those surveyed say they will definitely return next year, with the remaining 10% indicating they are likely to return in 2012.”
Morey’s Fears combines seven of the most thrilling rides on Mariner’s Landing with a supercharged Ghost Ship experience and two all new attractions – CarnEvil’s creepy clowns crawl out of unexpected places to terrify guests, and CornStalkers, a corn maze located on the beach, is one of the most intense horror attractions around.
“We’re thrilled with the first weekend and we’re amped up to keep the momentum going for four more nights,” said Will Morey, President and CEO. “Morey’s Fears is definitely a hit.”
Visit Morey’s Fears – Terror on the Boardwalk on Friday and Saturday nights, through Oct. 29 from 6:30-11 p.m. This is a gated event and admission is required.
