COURT HOUSE – The Middle Township Economic Development Council in conjunction with the Cape May County Herald is proud to present Middle Township’s first (and ideally annual) Restaurant Week, which began Monday, Sept. 22 and will run through Saturday, Sept. 27.
Participants include Atkinson’s Tavern, Avalon Links Restaurant, Bellevue Tavern, Country Club Tavern, Hugits Steaks & Things, Nino’s Family Restaurant, Rio Grande Diner, Rio Station, and Steve’s Cafe 47. For details on each participant’s featured specials and Restaurant Week menu, visit www.middletownshiprestaurantweek.com.
Restaurant week promotions are popular all over Southern New Jersey and offer special discounts on full-course meals as well as discounted specials in smaller eating establishments. This marks the first time Middle Township has tried a restaurant week, and it is being held during the shoulder season in hopes to entice the tourists that remain in the area as well as year-round residents to try some of the restaurants in Middle Township.
“There have been new restaurants that have opened in Middle Township within the past year and of course we have many established restaurants. This promotion will give residents and visitors an opportunity to try a restaurant they maybe haven’t visited in Middle Township. Restaurant Week will help create awareness of the wide variety of eating establishments we have. We are looking forward to a successful inaugural event,” said Carol Struett, Chair of the Middle Township Economic Development Council.
The Middle Township Economic Development Council’s mission is to encourage and support business growth. For more information about Middle Township Economic Development, visit www.MTEconomicDeveloment.com or contact Anne Garrison, Economic Development Coordinator at (609) 465-8731.
