Middle Rec Holds Easter Scramble

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Recreation Department’s annual Easter Scramble was held April 16 despite the weather.
The event brought out approximately 150-200 children and their families.
Activities were moved to inside the gym with McGruff and the Easter Bunny and The Middle Township Police Department having a few tables set up to finger print and DNA the children for Child Safety Awareness.
The Egg Scramble was held outside in the soccer fields with over 5,000 plastic-filled Easter Eggs with our local fire department sounding off the alarm to start the scramble.
It was a fun time for all who attended. All are looking forward to next year’s Easter Scramble.
