Middle PAC to Offer Dinner and Parade at “Shrek” Opening

COURT HOUSE – The Performing Arts Center of Middle Township is expanding its opening performance festivities for “Shrek The Musical” on Wednesday night, Aug. 7, by offering a pre-show dinner at the PAC and a parade of the 64 cast members.
The dinner-show package is being offered for a total of $17 general admission and $15 for senior citizens and students. Those who already have purchased tickets for the show may still purchase the dinner supplement at the box office for an additional $5. The dinner, consisting of hot dogs, chips, soda and dessert, will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. on The PAC’S porch followed at 7:15 p.m. by a parade of the large cast on the balcony overlooking the box office. Show time is 7:30.
”Shrek-The Musical” will also be presented on Aug. 8 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. and Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m. It is being produced by Shore (Sure) Productions and The PAC as a culmination of a six-week summer theater camp for youths between the ages of seven and 18 and is under the direction of Kay Aspell, managing director of the Performing Arts Center.
Leading roles in the show, accompanied by a live orchestra, will be played by Billy Graff as Shrek the Ogre; Emily Kelley as Fiona; Conner Wynn as Farquaad; Jordan Severino as Pinocchio; Danielle Greene as Donkey, and Lauren Novsak as Gingy.
The PAC is situated at 212 Bayberry Drive, Court House, one-mile east of Garden State Parkway Exit 10. There is free parking on the premises.
