COURT HOUSE – No matter what the weatherman says, it’s a guarantee that the snow will fall on the night of Dec. 12, in Middle Township, and you won’t have to bring out the shovels to dig out from it. Wearing pajamas might help, though, when you talk to Santa Claus.
It’s all part of The Performing Arts Center’s fifth annual showing of the hit holiday movie, “The Polar Express,” and the kids and their parents are invited to attend in their pajamas like the children in the Tom Hanks movie. As part of the holiday celebration, viewers will get a special feeling of the winter season when theatrical snow falls during the showing of the film.
As a special addition this year, the children will be able to decorate a train cookie that perhaps they can leave for Santa on Christmas Eve.
“This is one of the most popular events of our our holiday season,” said Kay Aspell, managing director of The PAC. “It’s a fun event for the kids and a stress-free night for their parents!”
The film will be shown starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $6. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 463-1924.
