Mid Jersey Cape Rotary Hosts Project NJ for Phillipines

According to reports from CNN, Typhoon Haiyan may be the strongest tropical cyclone to hit land in recorded history. The storm made landfall with sustained winds of 195 mph and gusts up to 235 mph. Facts listed on ShelterBox.org state that 4.3 million people are affected by the Typhoon and more than 340,000 are displaced.
MJC Rotary will be holding a fundraiser on Dec 9th, 2013, NJ for Philippines, The Rock OPEN MIC at The Deck, Pacific Ave, Wildwood at 9 pm to raise funds for Rotary Club of Pampanga North, Philippines to support their efforts to provide relief for the victims of Super Typhoon, Haiyan on site.
The event will feature THE ROCK BOYS band, budding artist Julia Weldon from New York, and other local bands and musicians donating their time and talent for this event. Register through our website and join us as we reach out to the Philippines.
