Michael Zambelli Wins Top Prize in “Art on Asbury” Show

OCEAN CITY — With cold weather approaching, the Ocean City Fine Arts League decided to take things indoors and showcase “Interiors” at the “Art on Asbury” gallery. All art is for sale and supports local artists.
First Place: Michael Zambelli, from Margate , acrylic painting “Before Starbucks”
Second Place: Wanda Kline, from Ocean City for her oil painting “The Morning Room”
Honorable Mentions:
1. Janet McShain, from Dennisville for her Plaster/Acrylic ” Women’s Relief”
2. Diane Brown from Somers Point for Mixed Media, “In A Box”

The Ocean City Fine Arts League is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness of the arts and art community. Comprised of local artists and art lovers, the “Art on Asbury” Gallery showcases watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, photography, pottery, textiles, jewelry and sculptures- all made by local artists. The Gallery is located 608 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City and is open Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
