SEA ISLE CITY – The annual Mermaid of the Sea Festival indoor nautical sidewalk sale and auction will be held from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Townsends Inlet Civic Center, 138 85th St.
King Neptune and Sponge Bob Square Pants will kick off with giveaways at 6 and 7 p.m.
The Jr. King Neptune and Mermaid costume contest will be held on stage for boys and girls 2-10 for the Jr. King Neptune and the Mermaid contest. Prizes from Surf and Sport will be awarded for the best Jr. King Neptune and Mermaid costume.
Table space is available for $30 for a 3 X 8 foot table and two chairs. Applications will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
All proceeds benefit the Townsends Inlet Civic Center Restoration Fund. For reservations and applications call 263-3002.
