March Events at the Avalon Library Announced

COURT HOUSE –
Apple Computer Class
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold an Apple Computer Class on March 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Topic is Launch Pad and Mission Control. Registration is required by calling 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
Apple Computer Beginner’s Class
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold an Apple Computer Beginner’s Class on March 6 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. This is a basic skill class for the beginner. Registration is required by calling 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
Creative Writing
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a Creative Writing class on March 7 from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. Participants will receive instructor tips and feedback on poetry, memoirs, short stories, articles, and books.
Knitting Club
The Avalon Free Public Library will host Knitting Club on March 4 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the library. All levels of knitters are welcome.
PC Computer Class
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a PC Computer Class on March 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. Topic is The Cloud: What You Need to Know. Registration is required by calling (609) 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
Smart Phone Users Group
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a Smart Phone Users Group meeting on March 4 from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. Bring your smart phone with you to learn how to use its features. The instructor will be lecturing and answering questions on iPhones from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Droid & Windows phones from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
Social Media Users Group
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a Social Media Users Group meeting on March 11 from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. Introduction and general use of the most common social media platforms will be discussed, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. No registration is required.
Story Time
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold Story Time at 10 a.m. on March 5 in the Children’s Library. Join us for stories, songs, and crafts for children of all ages.
