Magic Show Comes to Avalon Golf Club

COURT HOUSE – Avalon Golf Club is proud to present “An Evening of Comedy & Magic with Brian Staron” on March 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Staron has been a full time performer for over 25 years. His show is made up of a special blend of slap-stick humor and incredible magic. Brian’s show has been described as “live situation comedy”. The show is suitable for all ages and relies heavily on audience participation, that’s right, you and your guest will be part of the show!
Staron has performed before millions of people throughout the world at world renowned theme parks, cruise ship lines, colleges, and private venues. He is in high demand, (now performing over 800 shows annually), and is considered one of the best corporate performers in the country. Staron performs over 800 shows each year for Walt Disney Entertainment with his primary location being Disney’s BoardWalk Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. He is a four-time winner of the “You Create Disney Magic” award, five-time winner of the “You’re a Disney Star” award, and an nine-time winner of the prestigious “Basics” honors. All three awards are presented by Disney Executives for “show excellence”. The “Basics” honor is based on five criteria that were originally set by Walt Disney himself.
“I will be bringing several new routines with me, as well as some of my classics,” said Staron. “I’m excited to return to South Jersey and do a show, especially for such a worthwhile cause as this. It will be fun to see friends from last year in the audience.”
Staron is very excited to return to South Jersey to perform for his fans here. He comments, ” Each day I thank God that I have a job that I so enjoy, a job where I jokingly say ‘I never work a day in my life’. I have a job where I literally get to create ‘magic’. The magic is not just in the trick I perform but the reactions I get from thousands of audiences. I see hundreds of thousands of people at my shows each year, I see the smiles and hear the laughs, but there is something even more special to bring the show back to where it all started. Seeing people smile, laugh and have fun is such a thrill.”

He is an amazing and very funny entertainer that knows how to hold an audience of all ages. All proceeds from this event will benefit the renovation and re-opening of the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, NJ. Tickets for the show are $30 for general seating.
